My name is Summer and I’m an Artist, Interior Designer, and Realtor with BHHS Carolinas. I create custom commissions on canvas, paper, and LUCiTE. Working as an Interior Designer/ Artist for the last 20 years I’ve developed a process for creating custom artwork that is reflective of a client’s style and needs. I begin by collecting information such as size and site specifics, medium, and color palette. Mood boards and inspirational pictures help visualize the feeling and look desired. The result is a translation of your ideas, thoughts, and words into a work of art that is made specifically for your space.
I  also create beautiful, bespoke home accessories from hand painted LUCiTE. I started painting on LUCiTE about 7 years ago and instantly fell in love with the complexity of painting layers in reverse. I paint the underside of the plexi glass and the viewer sees those first marks and details. When painting on a canvas, the first marks are buried as the painting takes shape. The durability and eye catching SHINE of LUCiTE makes it an amazing product that can be used nearly anywhere. I’ve created the STANDOUT Medallion, then LUCiTE Backplates, LUCiTE Hoods, Backsplashes and Custom Art for commercial and residential spaces. The possibilities are endless.
